I took this picture laying under a tree in my yard. I like this shot because of the vibrant colors. I set the camera for landscape and zoomed in on the center of the tree.

I took this picture on a brisk early morning when the sun was just rising. It took many shots to get the photo right. The sun had to hit the spider web in a certain angle for it to show. I took about 20 different shots. In photoshop all I did to the picture was crop the sides and change the color contrast and made the picture a little lighter to make the web stand out as much as possible. After completing the picture I think it turned out really well. The only thing I wish was different about the picture is I wish there had been a spider in the web.

Waterweeds

In this photo, I really tried to get the weeds in the water to show in the foreground with the orange/pink/blue sky in the background. The light reflecting off the water gave it a mystical feeling and came out great. The only adjustment I made to the photo was I sharpened the picture a little to give it that extra oomph. Altogether the photo came out just as I had planned and I think it is one of my best yet.

We were told to take pictures of things that made us think of autumn and I like how there is leaves at the bottom of the waterfall. I took a lot of pictures of this waterfall and this one was the best in focus. It was a cloudy day and at first my picture was too dark, so I adjusted the color and contrast but that still didn’t seem like enough. So I had to brighten it up a little. I also had to crop it to get rid of the logs that were in the bottom of the picture they were distracting. Overall I think it could have been more in focus, but I’m happy with it.

I saw some crayons dumped on the floor so I took a variety of pictures, this one was the best one. I like the depth of field and the muted colors. I’ am happy with the results.

I took this picture in the summer when my friend and I were driving around. I was taking shots of the sun because it was going down and looked really pretty. I got a couple of these shots but I liked this one best because of how the sun reflected through the trees. Editing this picture wasn’t that difficult because I just made some minor adjustments like tweaking the contrast a little so it was more vibrant.
