Photo by: Kyndra Jones I took this photo when I was in Seattle at about 1 in the morning. I was actually just messing around and didn’t expect this picture to turn out as well as it did. If you look at the farthest lights, you can see a zigzag line which I thought was really interesting and gave it an artistic feel. Also, I changed the picture to black and white to give it more of an edge, and it looked better with the blur of the lights.

I dont mean to sound mean, but this is awfully blurry, the composition is nice and it looks nice in black and white but just it being blurry kills it.

I like this picture alot. You're right, it does have an artistic feel. Good idea for turning it into black and white, it gives it more "edge."
I don't feel like there is anything to look at in focus in this picture. I like that you framed the tunnel and that there are diagonal lines leading to a vanishing point which does give it an artsy feel. I also agree that the black and white works for this image because to me it's kind of desolate feeling. Overall I like the composition and the blur of the lights kind of gives off a feel of how bright they seemed during the nighttime. This would have been a great image if it were only in focus. Keep shooting and try working with different types of focus or manipulating depth of field.
Focusing this picture would detract from its intrigue, I think. It
works with the blur. You've also added interest by capturing an angle
that's not quite right on; the slight diagonal draws the eye and fights
the lights for a turn. Suits "one a.m."
This picture is really neat looking. I love the way the light set out a glow and lights up the picture. The black and white turned out good. You did a great job on this picture!
Kyndra, your picture rocks! I love how the black and white gives off a mysterious spooky vibe, and the lights and posts work really well for leading lines. Awesome picture.
I like the whole feel of this picture. I like how everything is not all the way in focus which I think gives it personality. I agree the zigzag does give it an artistic feel. Overall a nice picture.
The light in this picture is too bright. I like the way the streets lead down the picture. It is definitely way to blurry, and there are some underexposed patches around the outside. Altogether though it is a good picture.
I think that the blurriness of this shot is what makes it interesting. It gives the photo a frantic, almost scary feel, and the fact that the whites are very bright makes it feel gritty and exposed. I you could, I would try to bring out a little more detail in the darks of the photo. Overall, great picture.
