I took this picture while doing the review of Elements of Composition assignment. I needed a “fill the frame” picture and since there isn’t a lot around my school I found a leaf on the ground by itself. I played around with the colors a little, but nothing looked better than an auto adjustment. I didn’t think I would end up posting this one so I wasn’t that worried about how it turned out. However, I think it would have turned out to be a better picture if my shadow wasn’t so prominent.

Wow Brittany I really like this picture, the color of the light is wonderful. :) I think your right about the shadow though. But other then that I really like the colors and background.
This picture really makes the colors in the leaf stand out. I really like this picture. I agree with the shadow but overall it’s a good picture.
I I agree with breaunna and brittni the piture is great! it really reminds me of fall, its sad all the leaves are falling off :(
For the sake of fill the frame you might have considered getting closer to the leaf and filling up the entire frame with it. I don't see a reason for the concrete to be there and I think it would have been a great shot had you gotten in tighter. I like the color in the leaf though you did a good job with the technical aspects.
I think that it is kind of cool how even though it is wet outside and there is no sun, there is still a little bit of your shadow. The rocks and leaves are very detailed also.
I really like this picture.
I love the colors of the leave they stand out.
This picture really catches my eye because of the color. I like how the leaf is bright and multicolored against a plain black background. And then since its wet it looks even better. For some reason though I even like the captured shadow toward the bottom of the leaf on the cement. This is a great example of single center of interest. Pretty good job.
