Photo b Kyndra Jones

I took this photo over Memorial Day weekend last year. This is of Tylor skating in the bowl at the Orting skate park. I really like how in focus this picture is and how I got a shot of him right in the middle of the trick. I also really like how the background looks.

The lighting is amazing in this picture. With the sunset background and his face it all goes together and looks really good.

This is a pretty good picture. I like how sharp his details are for being in such quick motion. His left arm seems to be disappearing. The main problem I have with this photo is th harsh lighting on his leg created by the camera's flash.

I really like this photo. The subject really jumped out at me because of the lighting. I really like how your subject is lit brighter than your background so it makes for a great contrast. You did a good job of getting your subject in focus, and it is a great action shot. You have perfect timing. Your background definitely adds to the photo as well. The colors in the background are more warm drawing you into the photo. I also like how you can see the designs and the skateboard. I can definitely feel the energy rush of this shot, and it makes me really think about the amount of concentration and how challenging skateboarding really is. Great job! Becca H, SPHS

What an awesome picture! Everything seems to work out perfectly. The way he is in focus, the sunset, even the lighting on his board. Great job

I enjoy action pictures so this one really strikes me. I like the composition of the picture how he is placed to the left so his arms lead you to the center of the picture and back through his body. One thing that kind of bothers me though is his arm on the right. It disappears which might not be a bad thing to some people but it leaves me kind of empty. Overall this picture really interested me.

I like this picture, the background shot is really good but it is also dark enough to make your subject jump out. really cool sunset too.

The way the shot was taken makes me feel like i was standing right there...On the ramp...Real close...The one think that looks odd to me is that there is a very blurry black line around the skater...overall a pretty good photo though...

This is a good action shot. I like the angle you are at in this. There are a few things I don’t like about this. First off, The blurriness in his hair. Try using a faster shutter speed. Second, I think that it should be adjusted of the lighting, because I feel that it is too dark.

The sunset in the background was great and how it reflects off his face. I like how he isn't looking directly in the camera, it makes the picture more meaningful. I like the angle on the shot. It seems a little to dark in areas but still a good picture.

Overall i like this picture. I like how he is not in the center of the picture. However i wish it was a little more sharp. like around the top of his head is blury. But overall this is a great picture.
