I took this photo around Christmas time when I came down with strep throat. I needed a photo for my close up assignment, so I set a few things up to get a good foreground, middle ground and back ground. I applied the rule of thirds and didn’t do anything in Photoshop, and I am happy with how it turned out.

This picture looks really cool especially with the container being in focus and the stuff behind it fairly blurry. In the middle there is what looks like a shadow of an object and it really draws the attention. Its put in thirds really well and really makes some plain objects look neat.

I like the way you used the rule of thirds for this photo. The cellphone stands out a little more than I would like it too, but overall it is a great shot.
