I chose to put this picture on the blog because I think it’s unique, I did some work on it in Photoshop obviously, but I accidentally lost the original copy so all I had to work with was my black and white copy but I think it turned out ok. I like the look the black and white gives it but I also like the extra something that the lights give it.

i'm not a fan of this photograph- it certainly has potential but i don't think that potential is yet achieved. the composition of the car is great- i like the row of cars peeking out behind the front and the perspective and angle make the car somewhat distorted in appearance- adding interest. however, there is not a lot of contrast in your black and whites and i do not like what you have done with the lights- it makes the photograph digital but not in a good way. keep working and i think that you will be able to come up with something much better than this.

I guess I just don’t get what your aim was here. Perhaps if you lost the original copy, you could take something different? This photo looks like something taken in a beginner photo class. The car looks attractive, and your composition is nice.. but I think it’s the color scheme that get’s me the most.

Props for overall focus and a good ISO setting, but I'm not sure what the point is here. There isn't a reason for any of the choices you made in editing and I personally don't think the composition was strong in the first place. I also don't agree that messing with Photoshop makes images unique. Try maybe different perspectives and angles and take a good unique picture. You might be surprised at what you can make things look like before you put them in Photoshop.
