Afternoon In the Park

Photo Chris Gaul

I took this photo at blue park downtown Puyallup while I was sitting in the kiddy pool while it was empty. I’m most proud of the way I captured the grass and the sky because those two colors go great together. I did get some lens flare in the tree which is what the purple dot is, but I think the photo is really good and the problem was I only took one picture of it. I did go into photo shop and saturate the photo a little just to add a bit more color.

I think this is a nice shot. I like the vibrant colors of the grass and the clouds. I think you could have edited the purple dot out of the image though. On the right hand side of the image it looks a little overexposed from the sun, but overall this is a great picture. SPHS

You did a great job capturing the color of the sky and the grass at the same time. I also like the variation of color in the sky and the amount of detail in the image. Good ISO setting and the white balance is great too. I really like how the tree is kind of a silhouette against the sky. Good shot overall

I think this picture came out really nice. The Colors are very bright and stand out. It looks really good saturated and the grass looks like a perfect green and the sky a perfect blue. The glare coming from the side corner of the picture works really well too. I'm not sure if it's the sun or a just a glare, but it looks really good.

This is a great picture. I really love the vibrant colors of the sky and the grass. I also like the lighting. The angle of the light and the shadows created by it are very interesting. Nice job! Shane-SPHS

i like all the colors that are in the picture and how the sky fades from dark blue to white. The colors in the picture go really well together

Wow.
I like everything about this picture I like how the sun is in the corner and it fades from very bright to darker towards the other corner. I like how the tree looks in front of the sky. And the shadows on the ground. Good Job….
