I took this photo for the fence assignment and liked it only for it's simplicity. I am a fan of open space and not many distraction in photos. I did a few things with photo shop to get the photo how it is. I removed a stick that was hanging in the fence and I messed with the levels to get a little bit different color. I believe that the three main colors in the background - red, white and green balance each other nicely.

this is a really simple shot. and i think thats why i lkie this picture. i really like the car in the background. i think you could have gotten more of the car though. but over all this is a good shot.
This photo is really great. I like the way that the car is out of focus and the fence is amazingly clear. I like the color differences in the photo, the red, white and green in the background go really great together. I really like this photo.
I like how you cropped this picture. Keeping the fence sharp with a blurred background is the most striking element of this photograph, and the car in the background keeps it interesting. There is a weird smear in the top left corner that is kind of distracting but nice job!
I really like the clarity of the fence against the blurred car. It is simple, but it is very interesting. I also agree that the red, white, and green in the background are well balanced. Great shot! Shane-SPHS
I like the way this shot has a crisp, clear focus on the chain-linked fence, and the car in the background works simply as a colorful backdrop, rather than being treated as another part of the image. It is the car in the background, however, that makes the image more interesting due to the car's hood being open, and the diversity of color. I also like the way that the chains on the lefthand side are in shadow, and the ones on the righthand side are not. Great shot.

I really like this shot! At first glance, it seemed to just be a fence, but when I looked again, I noticed the car in the background. The focus on the fence is great, very clear. I love that you made the background more colorful because it adds interest to the overall image. The car isn't distracting from the focus of the fence, which like you said, makes the shot simple, which I also like. This is a cool shot and I really like it!
This is a really good photo. The fence is in great focus and makes for a great contrast against the blurred car. This photo is simple, so I am not distracted by any inanimate objects. I feel that everything in this photo has relevance. I definitely think that the car really adds to your photo and helps to tie it all together. You did a good job on your shadowing for the fence, and I love the contrasting colors of the green and white. You also used complementary colors in your background. This photo has really great balance! Great job!

Based on the title, I would guess what is outside the fence would be more desirable than what is inside, but in the picture the thing in the background looks like an old car.
So while the shot is good, I think the background composition should contain something that's more desirable.
