I took this picture in October around the corner from my house. My brother had just gotten off of the bus and was walking with me while I was taking pictures. He kept picking up leaves so I decided to take a picture of him picking one up and well, this was the result. I edited it in photoshop by changing the color to a more golden/sepia tone, other than that it’s my original photo.

This is a really intriguing shot. There’s something about it that draws me in. I like that you made something that could’ve been unimaginative and cliché into something unique. I like the bronze tone of the color and the highlights from the lighting. You have good subject placement and focus too. Nice depth of field and exposure. Well done.

this is a really good shot! I like the light from the sun light that makes the shadow. The line of the leave makes your eye look through the whole photo. I also like the hand in the shot. It gives you more to look at. Great job.

The light in this picture is wonderful it is almost dreamlike. I feel like it would make a good movie poster. Without the hand in the shot the picture would become too monochromatic and would lose some of its delicate quality. So the hand was definitely a good choice.Great job!

I really like this picture! It has a lot of warmth and brightness. I really like the hand in the shot picking up the leaf and creating the shadow. The blurred background completely focuses the picture on the hand and the leaf. Great shot! Shane-SPHS

The way that you change the color of the photo makes it look very realistic. When I first look at the photo I thought that you took the picture while the sun setting. But after I read your post I was really impressed at how you change it like that. It a really good photo. Keep it up!

Very Nicely done! This image has been shot with steady hands I can’t believe how great the lighting is event though you tweaked it. This is keeper something I would hang on my wall.

This picture is amazing.
It looks as if it should be an album or movie cover. I like the sepia effect I think it added a lot of flare. Good job.

Nice shot. The sepia was a nice touch. Makes it look very autumn-y… if that’s a word. I like how crisp this photo is. And the texture of the grown and leaf.

This is an awesome Photo. I love how captured the wet grainy ground under the leaf. The Golden tone looks really good for this picture. It adds a different mood to the picture, kind of like a nature, mystical mood. It still looks a bit dirty but it looks really good for this. I like this photo a lot.

this is a really interesting shot. the colors work perfectly and i love the textures that you were able to capture. i wish the upper right hand corner was not quite so blurry it seems inconsistent with the rest of the photo. you managed to show the beauty in the mundane, great job.

This photo is great! I love the color and the brightness. I agree with the other posts about the hand in the picture being nice, and I also think that the shadow of the hand and leaf add a little bit of contrast. It is also very crisp. It is just overall a great picture!
