I like this picture because I am a fan of macro/close-up shots. I tried to get the main focus on the barb on the fence. This is the original picture. I have not messed with it at all. I really like the way the color turned out. You almost have to double check to see if it is black and white or color.

This is a GREAT shot. I am also a fan of the macro lens and i have yet to take a picture that is similar in quality to your original shot. However i would not leave this picture in its original form. You might want to go into photo shop, and do a color correction and sharpen the barb and the pine straw in order to make it clearer than in already is.
I like how this is one of those pictures where you really can't tell what it is at first glance. It is very crisp, and I like how you have not messed with it very much. It looks great in its original color. Good job!

I like your picture a lot! However, my one critique is that the barb could be maybe slightly sharper/more in focus. I like the pine straw hanging from the the wire; it gives a very natural feel to the shot. I also really like how the photo almost looks black and white. I like the simplicity of the subject you chose. Nice work!

I think this picture is really cool. I also am I big close up fan; I think this is a cool concept for a picture. I also like to hear you did not Photoshop it. It’s refreshing to see a good shot that you didn’t have to mess with.
I like the color and the depth of field of the image, but I'm not sure if I agree with the previous comments that it looks natural. I almost would have proffered the pine needles to not be there because they kind odd look like you placed them to make the image. I also would have liked to see the wire making diagonals instead of horizontal likes across the frame. I thin maybe the reason the needles throw me off is that I feel like they divide the frame in half exactly at a 90 degree angle. It's a nice shot though.
The color in this picture is really interesting and I like it a lot. I kind of wish the barbed wire was a little bit closer to the top and not right down the middle. That would make the pine straw even more prominent because as it is now the background kind of distracts me at the top. Overall though I really do like this shot.

I really like this shot a lot. I like the overall colors of this shot very much. I do like the pine straw in the picture, and i think without them it would not have been as nice of a shot. My two corrections would have been to sharpen the barbed wire a little bit, and also cropped the shot so the barbed wire is perfectly (as can be) horizontal which would also make the pine needles lean a little more.

Over all I like this photo. I like the focus of the pine straw. I think the background is too blurry. I think it would be better if the pine straw was a little lighter. It fades into the barbed wire too much. But I like the contrast of the pine straw and the wire to the snow.
