Wheel In The Sky

I took this picture in my school parking lot, I ran out of things to take pictures of then I saw these shiny rims. The assignment is called “from the ground up”. I think this is a great photo and has a cool view of perspective.

This is a great shot. I like the close up on the rim. I also like the small aperture that allowed a good depth of field. This allows details in the foreground and background to be in focus. The scattered clouds also add a dynamic effect to the image. Another interesting aspect of this piece is the reflection of the sky in the rims. This adds a weird sort of symmetry. Only thing I might have changed would have been to include the whole tire rather than cropping it out. However, other than that, great shot.

Good shot, I like the perspective view on it, but I wish that the metal was more in focus, other than that very good shot.

I think this is a really cool shot. The different perspective of the picture adds a lot more interest to viewers. The rule of thirds is used fairly well, having the tire take up 2/3 of the picture. I like how the rim also has a slight reflection of the sky. Overall I think this is a really neat picture and a great shot!

I like how the wheel reflects the clouds in the sky. And the lines made from the wheel is very nice. I don't like the fact that some of the car is in the picture. If you could have gotten just a smudge closer to the wheel it would have been good.

i like the way you took this picture. i wish the chrome in the rim was a little more clear. if you could have gotten the Toyo and the rest of the the letters in the middle it would come out better. I also like the way the fender is rolled over the tire.

I like the shiny rim. The arches in the rim make my eye go around the wheel and the picture the sky also plays a great role in helping the picture move my eyes around. Great shot.

I really like this shot. The angles is great on this picture. I like how u capture the the rim and the shy at the same time. The picture is in good focuses and the right exposer. Over all a great picture. Sean SPHS

i really like this shot. when i first looked at it i asked myself why is he taking this hot going up 2the sky instead of down on the ground of something. but then i realized that the assignment was suppose to be from the ground up, so i really do like this shot. the sky has clouds and its not to boring witch is good and the tire takes up 2/3 of the picture witch is also good. it also has really sharp detail. overall its a really good shot.

I’m actually relieved to see that there is a picture of rims that is somewhat amusing. I really like the angle, & it gave the picture a lot more character by using a different angle. Good job.

I like how the words on the tire are visible. I would have put the focus point on the rim more than the tire and sky. I like the reflection of the sky on the rims. It would have looked a lot better if you got more of the rim and less of the tire so you could show what's behind the rim like the brake rotors for example.
